As the Executive Vice President of Education and Autism Services at NHS Human Services, Karen provides oversight to all children's services within NHS, including the NHS Schools in Pennsylvania. Karen holds a Master's Degree in Adult Education and Counseling. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a certified Marriage and Family Counselor with more than 19-years of experience in the mental health field and more than 16 years specifically dedicated to children and families impacted by an autism spectrum disorder. David is a National Board-Certified & Pennsylvania-Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in Trauma-Informed Care and the provision of quality clinical services to children and families in both the behavioral health and academic settings. He ensures that consistent, high quality care is provided throughout the NHS Education & Autism Division by establishing best practice standards, tracking care performance against benchmarks and related measureable goals, and facilitating service enhancements via a robust incident management review and action process. Inherent to David’s responsibilities are also divisional leadership for Policy & Procedure development/implementation and for the Trauma-Informed Care initiative through the National Council for Behavioral Health.

James has a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice and brings more than 25 years of experience in the juvenile justice and child welfare system. He has led nationally recognized programs in transitional reintegration, work programs and violence reduction partnerships, as well as the implementation of several evidenced-based and promising practice programs. His experience as the Chief Probation Officer in Philadelphia Juvenile Court, and most recently as the Regional Executive Director of the Northwestern Academy, has provided the arena for strategic planning of policy development and operational efficiencies across programs and schools.

She is a seasoned professional that maintains service line consistency across all the NHS Schools. Leanne also provides the team with additional support in the role of Administrative Assistant to Karen Markle, Corporate Vice President of Children's Services. She is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks. Leanne is a person who is exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting diverse people and programs.
